About The Position

Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive, academic health system in central New York and a major teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, is seeking a per diem CRNA. This role involves providing full-spectrum anesthesia services to a diverse patient population with a strong focus on safety and quality. The Collaborative Anesthesia Care Team model is predominant, with CRNAs encouraged to participate in the full spectrum of care, including neuraxial, regional, and invasive line placement. The position offers a supportive environment for new graduates and opportunities for a wide range of shifts, including extra shifts at premium pay. Practice locations include Cooperstown, Oneonta, Cobleskill, and Little Falls, with flexibility for those living in Albany, Binghamton, Utica, or Syracuse.

Requirements

• NBCRNA Certification
• New York State Licensure
• BLS, ACLS or PALS Certification Required

Responsibilities

• Provide full-spectrum anesthesia services to a diverse patient population.
• Focus on safety and quality in patient care.
• Participate in the full spectrum of care including neuraxial, regional and invasive line placement.
• Work within a Collaborative Anesthesia Care Team model.
• Work in a supportive medical direction model with physicians and other CRNAs.

Benefits

• Per Diem Rate: $225.00 per hour - less than 2 years’ experience/paid malpractice insurance
• $250.00 per hour - more than 2 years' experience/paid malpractice insurance
• Paid malpractice insurance
