About The Position
Missouri Baptist Medical Center, an acute care hospital in St. Louis County, offers a full continuum of medical and surgical services, including heart care, cancer, women and infants, breast health, gastrointestinal, orthopedic, stroke, therapy, wound and pain management services. The hospital has a 24-hour adult emergency department and cares for pediatric patients at a separate emergency department in collaboration with St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Missouri Baptist is the first and only hospital in St. Louis County to be named a Magnet® hospital by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). The prestigious designation is the highest credential a health care organization can receive for nursing excellence and quality patient care. The role of a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) involves working in collaboration with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other medical professionals to deliver anesthesia for medical and surgical procedures. This position offers a minimal call schedule with call taken from home and a 30-minute call requirement. New graduates are welcome, and an advanced sign-on bonus is available for students.
Requirements
- Nursing Diploma/Associate's in Nursing
- <2 years of experience
- No Supervisor Experience
- Cert RN Anesthetist license

Responsibilities
- Participates in professional development
- Provides direct patient care and documents care given.
- Ensures compliance with all applicable state, local, and federal laws that may apply to anesthesia services.
- Completes the pre-anesthesia patient record, reviews the results of laboratory data, and begins induction when appropriate.
