About The Position
Seeking Experienced CRNAs for a 24hr (73 Shifts per Year) opportunity at Parrish Medical Center in Titusville, Florida. Parrish Medical Center (PMC), a Parrish Healthcare integrated care partner, has been in continuous operation since 1958 and is an award-winning, nationally recognized 208-bed, not-for-profit hospital. It is designated by NASA as an official medical receiving facility and has been recognized by U.S. News & World Report as a High Performing Hospital and Maternity Care Access Hospital. It is also recertified as a Primary Stroke Center by The Joint Commission. The role involves a diverse surgical case mix including general surgery, orthopedics, obstetrics, neurology, vascular, endoscopy, urology, and outpatient procedures. The position offers 24-hour shifts with a rotating schedule including weekends and holidays, requiring proficiency in OB. The care team model focuses on giving everyone a voice while supporting excellence in care delivery.
Requirements
- Current license as a registered professional nurse
- Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
- Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
- Proficient in OB
Responsibilities
- Pre-anesthesia assessment
- Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
- Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
- Performance of clinical intervention as needed
