About The Position
Somnia Anesthesia is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a full-time position at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Stockton, CA. This role offers an independent practice model with a full scope of practice and a diverse case mix. The position is at a leading, highly-rated academic medical center known for its collegial environment and support for professional growth and work-life balance. There is a potential for a $10k AANA Congress 2026 Limited-Time Bonus for full-time positions, offered between 8/1-9/15/2026.
Requirements
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
- Motivated to practice independently.
- Experienced CRNAs or new graduates ready to excel in an academic environment.
- Must be eligible for or possess a California RN license and CRNA certification.
- Must have a minimum of 0-2 years of experience for the starting salary range.

- Experience in an academic environment alongside an anesthesiology residency program.
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services with full autonomy, including regional anesthesia, arterial lines, and central lines.
- Participate in a diverse case mix across various specialties.
- Collaborate within a clinician-led team of CRNAs and anesthesiologists.
- Engage in professional development, mentoring, and wellness activities.
