About The Position
Located in the heart of east Texas near Lufkin, NMC is a multi-specialty facility that offers a wide scope of medical services. We are looking for an independent-minded, service-oriented CRNA to join the CRNA team at this 161 bed facility.
Requirements
- Current certification as a CRNA by the National Board on Certification and Re-Certification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
- Valid, unrestricted RN and CRNA licenses in Texas (Currently, or willing to obtain).
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a CRNA, with proficiency in cases.
- Strong clinical knowledge.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing clinical situations and deliver optimal patient care.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
Nice To Haves
- Proficiency in Regional anesthesia is preferred but the facility is willing to train.
Responsibilities
- Perform anesthesia management for diverse patient populations.
- Provide anesthesia for General, Ortho, Endo/GI, Urology, ENT, OB/GYN, and Regional cases.
- Participate in call rotation (1:5 weekday, 1:6 weekends).
- Cover OR and OB calls from home.
