About The Position

Connells Maple Lee flowers & gifts, a growing floral industry leader with 19 retail locations and two distribution hubs, is seeking individuals who enjoy driving and making people happy. This is a full-time position, approximately 30-34 hours weekly, including alternating Saturdays and occasional Sundays, with more hours scheduled during floral holidays and busy times. The role involves bringing comfort and joy into people's lives through deliveries.

Requirements

Possess a high school diploma (or equivalent).
Exhibit exceptional hygiene habits.
A valid driver's license must be currently held to complete daily duties.
A period of 3 years without any accidents or violations.
Knowledge of local area streets is required.
Able to lift 50 lbs.
Able to complete training and satisfactorily complete evaluations.
We do pre-employment drug testing.

Nice To Haves

Computer experience.
Knowledge of Bexley, Columbus, and the surrounding areas.
Prior driving experience in public or private transportation organizations is preferred.

Responsibilities

Daily contact with recipients.
Perform rural and city deliveries efficiently and safely.
Responsible to deliver products without damages to the product or the vehicle.
Safe driving practices will be required for all drivers.
Customer contact skills and overall people skills are required.
Driver will be expected to wear a uniform that is maintained at an acceptable, clean level.
Other duties as assigned.
