About The Position

GiaCare Inc. is accepting applications from experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for a future opportunity supporting Evans Army Community Hospital at Fort Carson, Colorado. This position is being recruited in anticipation of contract award. Qualified candidates will be considered for employment upon contract award. Join a highly skilled anesthesia team providing comprehensive anesthesia services to active duty service members, military retirees, and their families at Evans Army Community Hospital. This position offers the opportunity to practice independently within your granted clinical privileges while supporting a wide variety of surgical and procedural services in a military treatment facility.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizen
  • Master's Degree in Nursing from a Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA)-approved program
  • Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program and residency
  • Current, full, active, unrestricted CRNA license in any U.S. state or territory
  • Current national certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
  • Minimum twenty-four (24) months of independent clinical CRNA experience within the past thirty-six (36) months
  • Minimum twelve (12) months of labor epidural experience within the past twenty-four (24) months
  • Experience providing obstetrical anesthesia, including general, spinal, MAC, regional block, and epidural anesthesia
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willing to obtain)
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS/ALS) certification (or willing to obtain)
  • Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (or willing to obtain)
  • Active DEA registration or ability to obtain one prior to employment

  • Experience in high-acuity surgical environments
  • Labor & Delivery anesthesia experience
  • Strong independent clinical decision-making skills

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive pre-anesthesia evaluations and develop individualized anesthesia plans
  • Administer general, regional, monitored anesthesia care (MAC), and neuraxial anesthesia within granted clinical privileges
  • Monitor patients throughout surgical and procedural care and manage physiologic responses
  • Manage airways, invasive monitoring, fluid therapy, and post-anesthesia recovery
  • Perform post-anesthesia evaluations and document all anesthesia care accurately
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals
  • Participate in quality improvement activities and maintain anesthesia equipment and supplies
  • Provide safe, evidence-based anesthesia care while maintaining compliance with military and facility standards
