About The Position

UPMC is seeking a casual Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join their team in Harrisburg, PA. This role offers self-scheduling with flexible shifts (8, 10, 12, and 24 hours) and the opportunity to work alongside a skilled and diverse team performing a wide range of surgical procedures including Neurosurgery, Vascular Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, OB, Cardiac, General Surgery, GI procedures, and Colon and Rectal Surgery. The position utilizes advanced technology with EPIC EMR and Fabias GS.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited CRNA program.
Ability to acquire a license to practice in Pennsylvania.
Must obtain valid federal and state narcotics certificates.
Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Board Certified, Recertified or eligible by the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.
AHA-approved ACLS/PALS certifications as required by institution of employ upon hire.
Knowledgeable regarding controlled substance policies in accordance with Federal and State laws.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree preferred.

Responsibilities
