About The Position

ANINE BING is looking for a CRM & Retention Marketing Manager to join our Ecommerce team. This is a build role at the intersection of lifecycle marketing and AI-powered personalization. You will own retention from strategy to execution, shape our CRM platform stack, and bring a genuinely modern approach to how we use data, automation, and AI to deepen the relationship with our customer. The role reports to the Chief Marketing Officer.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in CRM, lifecycle marketing, or retention marketing within a DTC or fashion brand.
  • Proven track record building and optimizing email and SMS programs — platform-agnostic, with a clear POV on what good looks like.
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools applied to marketing, whether that is predictive segmentation, generative content, automated testing, or intelligent send-time optimization. You have used these tools in practice, not just read about them.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn customer data into actionable strategies, not just reports.
  • Hands-on experience with Shopify, ESP and CRM platforms, and marketing analytics tools.
  • Experience managing or mentoring at least one direct report.
  • Excellent written communication skills with an ability to brief creative teams and present clearly to leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Own lifecycle marketing strategy across email, SMS, and app push — from welcome through repeat purchase, reactivation, and loyalty. You build the programs and run them.
  • Comfort with AI-native workflows is not a nice-to-have here, it is how we expect this function to operate.
  • Platform strategy. Evaluate, recommend, and lead the implementation of our CRM and ESP stack, with a clear point of view on what the right architecture looks like for a brand at our stage and pace.
  • Acquisition-to-retention handoff. Partner with Performance Marketing on audience strategy, suppression logic, and the seam between paid acquisition and owned retention, making sure we do not lose customers we paid to acquire.
  • Retail clienteling partnership. Work closely with the retail team to translate CRM data and segmentation intelligence into clienteling tactics in store, helping identify the right customers for outreach, the right moments to engage, and the right messages to deliver. The goal is a unified customer experience where the relationship does not reset at the door.
  • Creative partnership. Brief and collaborate with the Creative team on lifecycle assets across campaigns, evergreen programs, and seasonal moments.
  • Retention analytics. Build reporting frameworks tied to the metrics that matter, repeat rate, LTV, lapsed rate, and translate what the data says into what we do next.
