Requirements

  • BA/BS with an emphasis in Computer Science/QM, Information Systems, Software Development, Software Management or related field.
  • Current Salesforce Administrator Certification.
  • Two (2) or more years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator.
  • Ability to conduct analysis of business processes, information flow, associated reporting needs, and application integration in support of customer needs.
  • Understanding of Salesforce backend development toolset including Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL), process builder, flow automation builder, OmniStudio, Apex classes and triggers, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Enterprise CRM (Constituent Relationship Management) system and product ecosystem.
  • Assist with the design, development, testing, deployment, and support of the CRM system, ensuring its security and integrity.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to student interns, delegated administrators, and developers.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and users to gather, analyze, and document requirements and translate them into Salesforce solutions.
  • Execute assigned monthly sprint stories, with weekly stakeholder updates recorded within Jira.
  • Troubleshoot errors and client tickets by conducting thorough debugging, profiling, and system log analysis.
  • Create, maintain, and document Salesforce configuration and declarative development, including custom fields, custom objects, lightning page layouts, list views, reports, dashboards, formula fields, validation rules, user permissions, and governance.
  • Explore new Salesforce features that can enhance student services, experience, and operational efficiency and propose them to the team.
  • Act as Product Owner for assigned Salesforce tool suite add-ons, managing access, training, documentation, security, data management, upgrade management, and serving as a subject matter expert.
  • Manage user creation, roles, profiles, permission sets, and license allocations.
  • Oversee the day-to-day maintenance and configuration of multiple Salesforce environments (production, staging, sandboxes).
  • Follow CRM Release Processes for regular Salesforce releases, ensuring new features are evaluated, configured, and tested before deployment.
  • Manage and complete user tickets in a timely manner.
  • Translate technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Conduct detailed needs analyses, user interviews, and feasibility studies for ITS projects.
  • Develop and maintain user stories within Jira for projects, aligning with monthly sprints.
  • Create comprehensive project documentation (business cases, functional specifications, user stories).
  • Provide training, documentation, and support to end-users.
  • Provide timely, clear, and professional updates to stakeholders regarding support tickets, project work, progress, timelines, risks, resolutions, and next steps.
  • Contribute to the Data Empowerment team to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance across customer data within the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Help establish, maintain, and monitor data standards and processes.
  • Create automated data management processes within the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Act as a key liaison with ITS integration, cloud, and data teams.
  • Promote and teach Master Data Management within the enterprise Salesforce ecosystem.
