The CRM Administrative Support Specialist provides critical organizational and administrative support to the CRM Support Team while assisting with foundational CRM administration tasks. This developmental role ensures efficient intake and prioritization of requests, accurate documentation of decisions and tasks, and timely reporting of work status. By maintaining visibility into all moving pieces and contributing to basic CRM functions, this position enables the CRM Platform Manager to focus on strategic initiatives and platform optimization. This position offers a hybrid work option. Nelnet values flexibility and understands the importance of work-life integration. Our hybrid work environment allows associates Living within 30 miles of an office location to work remotely for part of the week, while also fostering collaboration and team connection through in-office presence three days per week. Requirements

  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal communication.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint).
  • Detail-oriented with ability to summarize complex information clearly.
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities and multiple tasks.
  • Accuracy in documentation and reporting.
  • Work effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication.
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn CRM administration and grow into advanced responsibilities.
  • Minimum 4 years administrative experience (CRM exposure preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent experience).

Responsibilities

  • Capture and prioritize incoming requests, routing tasks to appropriate team members.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of decisions, tasks, and open items.
  • Prepare and distribute status reports and summaries for stakeholders.
  • Assist with basic CRM administration tasks (e.g., updating records, running reports, monitoring data integrity).
  • Support training and communication initiatives for CRM users.
  • Serve as a communication bridge between the CRM Platform Manager and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Provide administrative support to manage high-volume workflows effectively.
