About The Position

The CRLS AVID Program Facilitator will coordinate all aspects of the AVID Program at CRLS, including selecting students, hiring tutors, and planning curriculum. The facilitator will conduct informational sessions and dinners for parents, facilitate Site Team meetings and assemble the agenda, and organize AVID field trips and guest speakers. Additionally, the facilitator will teach an AVID course and other content-area classes, and coordinate evening and/or summer events and training as needed. The Program Facilitator serves as the instructional leader of the program for students, tutors, and other teachers, and acts as the program liaison with Principals, Deans, Counselors, and faculty. The AVID Program Facilitator reports directly to the CRLS Principal and will work closely with the Learning Community Deans.

Requirements

• CRLS faculty member trained in AVID methods and curriculum

Benefits

• Stipend in the amount of $3,215, to be distributed in two equal installments in December and June
