About The Position

Individuals in this position are responsible for supporting 100% uptime for the Data Center and its customers. The role supports facility operations and customer integration, including technical responsibility for facility power and HVAC systems. It also drives organizational processes and procedures, develops and reviews MOPs and SOPs, and prepares technical presentations and monthly reports.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of facility operations and management experience in the data center industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong presentation and proposal design skills.
• Strong knowledge of general industry networking technologies, UPS, generators, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to multitask and meet multiple deadlines.
• Strong supervisory responsibilities are required.
• Familiarity with field concepts, practices, codes, standards, and procedures, including environmental and safety regulations, ISO 9000 quality assurance standards, ISO 14000 environmental standards, and OHSAS 18000 health and safety standards.

Nice To Haves

• A bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university is preferred; equivalent training, education, and experience may qualify.
• Data center industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive processes and procedures in the organization.
• Develop and review MOPs and SOPs.
• Ensure customer application solutions are implemented correctly and on time, including preparing space, power, and network.
• Prepare and present technical presentations on the facility.
• Oversee technical aspects of facility operations, including power and HVAC systems.
• Prepare monthly reports and metrics.
• Provide technical support for successful customer integration and implementation of company solutions.
• Handle facility issues encountered during day-to-day operations to ensure 100% uptime.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
