Reporting to the Director of Infrastructure Operations, the Senior Technician – Critical Installations is responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and optimal availability of the data‑center’s critical infrastructure. In accordance with health‑ and‑safety standards, your main responsibilities will be to perform site inspections and monitor building and data‑center alarms, plan and carry out preventive‑maintenance work, while coordinating and supervising external service providers, coordinate repairs, corrective maintenance, and interventions related to equipment failures, monitor, diagnose, and maintain critical infrastructures, including uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, generators, building management systems (BMS), chillers, electrical installations, and fire‑protection systems, respond to on‑site incidents and take the necessary corrective actions to minimize service interruptions, process routine work requests and electrical‑circuit installations, and support critical‑maintenance activities, define the scope of work assigned to vendors and subcontractors and ensure follow‑up on the quality of their services, keep site records, equipment inventory, operating procedures, maintenance files, and technical documentation up to date, monitor infrastructure capacity and recommend improvements aimed at increasing reliability and quality while optimizing costs, collaborate with internal teams to assess operational impacts and coordinate activities so as to reduce interruptions, occasionally support sales, pre‑sales, and operations teams in developing technical solutions for customers, and transfer technical knowledge and advise colleagues on operational and maintenance activities of the installations.
