About The Position
Are you experienced in handling critical infrastructure and passionate about working in high-availability environments? We're looking for a Critical Environment Data Center Technician to join our growing team!
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in technical fields (Electrical / Data Center / Controls / Automotive)
- Strong understanding of National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Experience in critical environments (Data Centers, Hospitals, Manufacturing, etc.)
- OSHA or NFPA 70E Certification (Mandatory)
- Ability to work in rotational / flexible shifts
- Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Nice To Haves
- Data Center experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Support vendors, contractors, and on-site service providers
- Perform routine rounds, equipment checks & basic troubleshooting
- Monitor electrical, mechanical & fire/life safety systems
- Assist in emergency response and follow EOPs
- Maintain daily operational readings (temperature, voltage, current, etc.)
- Execute SOPs in critical environments
- Perform UPS maintenance & power system support (RPP, PDU, PIT)
- Support electrical infrastructure across data center environments
- Work with EPMS / Building Management Systems
