About The Position

Provides, under the direction of an R.N. or physician, safe and effective care to patients. Performs procedures and administers treatments consistent with written physician orders, the nursing process and standards, and the policies and procedures of the Unit, Nursing Division, and Hospital. Supports patients’ basic physical needs, including hydration, nutrition and assistance with feeding, toileting, activity, and physical comfort. Provides bathing and basic morning and evening care, including oral hygiene and grooming.

Requirements

• High school graduate.
• Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience as a Nurses Aide or Technician in a hospital setting, such as a Phlebotomist, CMO, or EKG Technician, or experience as an EMT.
