The Critical Care Tech will also be responsible for monitoring vital signs, performing EKGs, Glucometer testing, blood draws, and IV insertions (dependent on competency) for patients 15 years or older. Additionally, the role involves placing patients on cardiac monitors, reporting patient data to the Registered Nurse, managing supplies, and participating in continuing education and departmental meetings.
