About The Position

Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is seeking experienced Critical Care Registered Nurses for its Trauma Unit. This role involves providing care to critically injured patients, including planning, evaluating, and implementing patient care according to accepted standards. The current opening is for the Night Shift, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. The resulting eligible list may be used to fill future vacancies. The official county title is Specialty Care Registered Nurse Critical Care. ARMC is a 456-bed, university-affiliated teaching hospital located in Colton, California, offering a regional burn center, comprehensive stroke center, Level I trauma center, and a behavioral health center. It also operates community-based clinics and outpatient services and serves as the primary teaching hospital for the California University of Science and Medicine (CUSM).

Requirements

  • One (1) year of full-time equivalent experience as a licensed registered nurse.
  • Must possess and maintain Registered Nurse licensure with the State of California Board of Registered Nursing.
  • Must possess and maintain current Healthcare Provider level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • At time of application: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) PALS Certification issued by the American Heart Association.
  • Within six (6) months of hire: Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification issued by ARMC.
  • Within six (6) months of hire: Advanced Trauma Care Nursing certification.
  • Candidates must indicate availability for all shifts.
  • Rotating weekend and holiday coverage may be required.
  • Must pass a background investigation, drug test, verification of employment history and education.
  • San Bernardino County is not able to consider candidates who will require visa sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
