Critical Care Registered Nurse
About The Position
Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Critical Care Registered Nurse for their partner healthcare facilities. This role involves providing direct patient care within the RN scope of practice, leading and supporting patient/family education, and guiding nursing staff activities in the ICU. The nurse will be accountable for the care and outcomes of assigned patients, communicating patient condition changes to physicians, and responding quickly to changes in patient condition or treatment response. The position emphasizes delivering safe, high-quality patient care using the nursing process.
Requirements
- Current and valid state RN License.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Basic Arrythmia Interpretation required.
- Current ACLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care required.
Responsibilities
- Provides direct patient care within RN scope of practice
- Leads and supports patient/family education and guides nursing staff activities in the ICU
- Accountable for care and outcomes of assigned patients
- Communicates patient condition changes to physicians, including hemodynamic data and diagnostic results
- Responds quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or treatment response
- Delivers safe, high-quality patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)
