About The Position
Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a part-time civilian Tele-Critical Care (TCC) Critical Care Physician at Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD) in California. This role involves covering a 24/7/365 watch standing requirement with scheduled 12-hour day and night shifts. The position offers freedom from malpractice insurance worries and is available as either an Employee or 1099 status with a salary range of $200-$208 per hour.
Requirements
- Possess and maintain board certification (additional Pulmonary Medicine credentials and board certification is preferred).
- Completion of an accredited residency approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
- Three (3) years’ experience within the last five (5) years of adult critical care in a high-acuity setting or at least three (3) years’ experience within the past five (5) years of adult Tele-Critical Care experience.
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in California.
- BLS & ACLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- Additional Pulmonary Medicine credentials and board certification is preferred.
Responsibilities

- Performing seven (7) rotating, 12-hour day and night shifts a month.
