About The Position

LifeShare Network is searching for a skilled Paramedic to join our team as an Organ Recovery Coordinator. In this vital role, you will be central to the coordination of organ recovery efforts, ensuring that each case is handled with expertise and care, offering hope through organ transplantation. This position involves statewide travel across Oklahoma and requires working 12-hour night shifts (8 PM – 8 AM), including rotating weekends and holidays. Requirements

Experience in critical care settings such as ICU, ER, or flight/critical care transportation.
Certified Critical Care Paramedics (CCP-C) a plus!
Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide support during emotionally challenging times.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stress environment, adapting quickly to meet the needs of each unique case.
At least 2 years of ICU or ED experience.

Responsibilities

Act swiftly on referrals to assess the viability of potential donors and manage the entire organ recovery process.
Utilize specialized emergency care skills to optimize donor conditions, ensuring organs remain viable for transplant.
Communicate sensitively and effectively with donor families, providing them with comfort and understanding of the organ donation process.
Lead educational sessions for peers and partake in advanced clinical procedures to improve outcomes in organ recovery.
