About The Position

This is a Critical Care Nurse Practitioner (NP/PA) locum tenens position in Billings, MT, for an inpatient service setting. The coverage period is from June 12 to September 30, with a need for supplemental coverage. The role involves clinical duties only, working with trauma surgeons in a Level I Trauma facility. The Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) has 10 beds, and the NP/PA will care for approximately 10 patients per day. Rounding is included, and there are 5 RNs providing support staff. This position is to cover a 3-month maternity leave. The facility also has a Level III Pediatric facility.

Requirements

• Active MT License/IMLC
• BC/BE
• BLS, ACLS (AHA)
• Surgical ICU experience required

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care in a Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU).
• Work with trauma surgeons who are fellowship-trained.
• Round on patients.
• Manage approximately 10 patients per day.
• Collaborate with 5 RNs.
