About The Position

Take the next step in your career with Morrison Healthcare as a Critical Care Dietitian in Johnson City, TN! This role will cover trauma (surgical) nutrition support. Morrison Healthcare at Johnson City Medical Center is a 445-bed acute care Level I Trauma Center and children's hospital. This position requires a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with the Commission on Dietetic Registration and TN Dietitian licensure. The schedule is Monday - Friday, with every 6th weekend rotation. Salary is $60,000 - $65,000 plus a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Requirements

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible
Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable
Specialty certification when required
Two years of work experience in specialty preferred

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients in a designated specialty area to promote recovery and improve health outcomes
Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to patients, families, staff, and the community
Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality, consistent care
Contribute to QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence
Partner with the food service management team to help achieve patient satisfaction and service goals
Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable
