About The Position
Bayview Physicians Group is the largest, independent multi-specialty medical group serving the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. Bayview is seeking Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to join our Critical Care Medicine team on rotations in Chesapeake, VA. We are seeking high-quality PA-Cs and NPs who are able to provide exceptional patient care in the inpatient setting.
Requirements
- High quality PA-Cs and NPs
- Able to provide exceptional patient care in the inpatient setting
Responsibilities
- Perform initial assessments, daily progress notes, and ongoing evaluation of critically ill patients
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the attending physician
- Perform and assist in critical care procedures
- Respond to medical emergencies, including, Code Blue and Rapid Response events
- Communicate effectively with patients' families regarding care plans, goals of care, and prognosis
