Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Join the dynamic and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (APP) team at MSK, where over 900 Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) are transforming cancer care! Are you ready to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives in a collaborative, innovative environment? We’re looking for Critical Care APP to manage medical and surgical Critical Care Medicine patients in our 20-bed ICU, 15-bed Step-down unit and on the Critical Care Medicine Consult service. Role Overview: In this role, you’ll lead independently as part of the Rapid Response and Medical Code Teams, handle Sepsis Alerts, and provide critical care consultations across our main campus. You’ll also have the opportunity to master advanced procedures like central line and arterial line placements, as well as point-of-care ultrasound. Requirements

  • Current New York State (NYS) RN and AGACNP license/registrations
  • Master’s degree in nursing, prescriptive privileges (or eligibility)
  • 2+ years of related clinical experience.
  • Related National NP certification
  • BLS certification and DEA Certificate OR Graduate from an accredited PA program
  • NCCPA certification
  • Active NYS or be qualified for state licensure
  • BLS certification and DEA Certificate

Nice To Haves

  • Previous ICU, Critical Care, or experience treating high acuity patients highly preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years of PA experience is preferred
