About The Position

Bayview Physicians Group, one of Virginia’s largest independent, multi-specialty, physician-led group serving the Hampton Roads region, is seeking high-quality and compassionate Advanced Practice Providers (NPs or PAs) to join their dynamic critical care team. Opportunities are available throughout Southeast, Virginia including the areas of Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Norfolk and Suffolk. The role involves providing comprehensive, longitudinal patient-centered care in an inpatient setting, collaborating with an experienced multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include performing patient histories, physical examinations, and clinical assessments, diagnosing and managing critically ill patients, developing and implementing evidence-based treatment plans, and ordering/interpreting diagnostic tests. The position includes day and night rotations.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive, longitudinal patient-centered care in an inpatient setting while collaborating with an experienced multidisciplinary team
Perform comprehensive patient histories, physical examinations, and clinical assessments
Diagnose and manage critically ill patients with respiratory illness, sepsis, shock, multisystem organ failure, trauma, and other life-threatening conditions
Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, including medications management and hemodynamic support
Order and interpret laboratory tests, imagine studies, and diagnostic evaluations
