In this fast-paced role, based at the Bright Path Center, you'll provide immediate support, conduct assessments, and help clients and their families develop a path forward. As part of Lenape Valley Foundation's expanded services- including Substance Abuse Disorder and Withdrawal Management, you will play a vital role in delivering critical, life-changing care within a growing, innovative program. Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, or counseling; or be a registered nurse
  • At least two years of experience in human services, with one year in direct mental health care
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in computer use; experience with EHR systems preferred
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, with or without accommodation

Nice To Haves

  • At least one year's experience in a drug and alcohol setting
  • Experience in conducting ASAM Level of Care Assessments strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Monitor a 24-hour crisis call center
  • Provide triage, crisis counseling, information, and referrals
  • Conduct face-to-face level-of-care assessments
  • Deliver in-person crisis counseling and planning
  • Facilitate emergency psychiatric evaluations and involuntary commitment applications when necessary
