About The Position

Easterseals Iowa is seeking a dedicated individual to join our Crisis Stabilization Center. As a Crisis Stabilization Professional, you will play a crucial role in supporting children and families experiencing mental health crises. Our program operates both at our serene Camp Sunnyside location and within the community.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services field (psychology, social work, nursing, education, etc.) + 1 year of behavioral/mental health experience OR a bachelor’s degree in another field + 2 years of behavioral/mental health experience OR 2 years of behavioral/mental health experience
• Reliable transportation (mileage reimbursement provided if working in the community)
• Insurability under Easterseals vehicle policy
• Access to a phone for support needs

Nice To Haves

• Experience in crisis services is highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver skill-building interventions that help children and families manage crises and build long-term resilience.
• Partner with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement stabilization and WRAP, (Wellness Recovery Action Plan) strategies.
• Work closely with other supports and service providers to ensure families receive comprehensive support.
