This role involves working with individuals recovering from severe mental illness in a crisis setting. The Crisis Specialist will be responsible for implementing care plans to stabilize clients within a 15-day period, which includes monitoring medications, planning and implementing daily activities, conducting client and group assessments, providing training and counseling, and managing documentation. The position also involves coordinating follow-up care, developing community support networks, triaging emergency mental health calls, and scheduling appointments using an electronic health record (EHR). All shifts are overnight at the Crisis House.
