The Crisis Shift Lead will assist the Director of Crisis Services with clinical and administrative oversight of programs and services. This includes managing staffing shifts, filling job vacancies, and supervising shift leads. The role involves monitoring the quality and timely submission of clinical documentation, providing ongoing support and supervision to Shift Leaders, and ensuring new staff are properly oriented and trained. The Crisis Shift Lead will also train staff on documentation requirements, disseminate pertinent information, and provide training to team members to ensure consistency across shifts. Additionally, this role will assist shift leads with case support, including identifying client needs, coordinating services, and preparing discharge plans. The Crisis Shift Lead will ensure all shift duties, such as shift notes and bed checks, are completed and documented, and that necessary documentation within Credible is maintained for Utilization Management (UM) staff. Communication with UM Staff regarding new admits and discharges, and ensuring timely completion of discharge summaries are also key responsibilities. Finally, the role includes conducting monthly chart reviews and providing feedback to shift leads.
