About The Position

The Crisis Service Technician is a professional who, in coordination with the Crisis Svcs Counselor, provides crisis management, information, follow-up referrals, and discharge planning to patients and families who present in the Emergency Center with a wide variety of psychiatric, chemical addiction, and psych-social problems. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychosocial/Mental Health field or other degrees with like curriculums.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of Psychiatry and/or chemical dependency experience in a health care setting.
  • 1 year of experience in the area of crisis evaluation and intervention in an acute psychiatric setting with an emphasis on quick assessment skills.
  • Upon hire: Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) - State of Washington
