This position provides integrated, recovery-oriented, rehabilitation, and case management services to individuals in psychiatric crisis within a community-based, residential setting. The role involves implementing individual service and treatment plans, facilitating psychiatric consultations and group sessions, and providing medical follow-up assistance. The specialist will also help clients navigate insurance benefits, develop and run groups focused on behavioral health, and connect clients with professional and community resources. Direct client counseling, crisis intervention, monitoring independent living skills, and responding to crisis situations are key aspects of the role. Additionally, the position requires participation in managing team/program discretionary resources, completing clinical records and documentation, and potentially providing transportation for agency business. On-call and floor coverage, participation in after-hours rotation, First Aid, assisting with housekeeping, and hourly tracking are also responsibilities. The role may involve evening, overnight, and/or holiday shifts.
