Crisis Rate - ARRT Certified Cardiac Cath Lab Rad Tech - 36 or 48hrs.
About The Position
This is a crisis rate position for an ARRT Certified Radiologic Technologist in the Cardiac Cath Lab. The role involves 4x10 day shifts (7:00 am - 5:30 pm) with 7 call shifts per 4-week schedule block, which may include full weekends. The Cardiac Catheterization and EP lab is equipped with 2 rooms and performs procedures such as PCI, Impella, balloon pump, device implants, and ablations. The patient population is adult. The technologist will be responsible for scrubbing in on device implants, lead revisions, and ablations. Floating to Interventional Radiology may be required.
Requirements
- ARRT Certified Radiologic Tech.
- 3+ years of recent experience required.
- Two years of Travel experience.
- Interventional, Cardiac, PCI, Scrub and EPIC experience required.
- Cath/EP Lab experience.
- Current MA License as Radiology Tech.
- AHA ACLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- RCIS certification is not required for this position.
Responsibilities
- Scrub for device implants, lead revision and ablations.
- Operate Toshiba X-Ray and Cannon equipment.
- Utilize EPIC - cupid for charting.
- Potentially float to Interventional Radiology.
