The Crisis Professional III/IV/V in Acute Care provides advanced clinical services to individuals admitted to acute, bed‑based crisis stabilization settings. This role is responsible for ongoing clinical assessment, therapeutic intervention, and treatment planning throughout the course of an acute episode, working closely with nursing, psychiatry, and interdisciplinary team members to support stabilization, safety, and recovery. This position maintains continuous clinical oversight of assigned individuals, monitors changes in clinical presentation over time, and adjusts interventions in response to acuity, risk, and treatment response. The Crisis Professional III/IV/V contributes to milieu management, supports de‑escalation within a structured environment, and leads planning for safe and appropriate discharge to the next level of care. In addition to direct clinical work, this role serves as a senior clinical presence within the unit, supporting team decision‑making, mentoring less experienced staff, and ensuring care is delivered in a trauma‑informed, equitable, and therapeutically grounded manner.
