About The Position

UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital is looking for passionate Crisis Clinician Supervisors to join their team at resolve Crisis Services. resolve is a 24-hour, 365-day crisis service including a 24-hour hotline, mobile crisis team, walk in center and services for children’s and teens. The Crisis Clinician Supervisor will oversee the Mobile Expansion Team, which is responsible for providing outreach services and crisis intervention in the downtown, southside, and northside areas. This position is eligible for up to a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling or Social Work with four years crisis experience.
• Experience may include phone triage, as well as an in-depth knowledge and proven skill at doing psychiatric assessments.
• Excellent, recovery-oriented interpersonal relations
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Comprehensive Crisis Management (CCMC)
• Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal
• Act 33 with renewal
• Act 34 with renewal
• Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal

Nice To Haves

• Experience in mental health crisis intervention, case management, or in home therapy preferred.
• Licensure in social work or professional counseling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Works with the Clin III to increase staff retention, manage or address staffing corrective actions
• Provides supervision
• Provides oversight of staff development/ training, building initiatives
• Works with the training team to develop trainings for staff, new hire onboarding/ orientation
• Participates in case consultation(s)
• Works with the Clin III to increase expansion and retention, decrease overtime across the departments
• Identify areas of improvement and or need
• Collaborates with senior leadership
• Participates in high utilizer meetings
• Manages crisis situations effectively
• Participates in building wide meetings with senior leadership.
• Project and Program analysis
• Oversight and participates in building wide quality initiatives
