Crimson Data Quality Associate

Indiana University FoundationBloomington, IN

About The Position

As a Crimson Data Quality Associate at IUF, you'll help keep the data that powers fundraising and alumni engagement accurate, consistent, and reliable across Indiana University and the Indiana University Foundation. Day to day, you'll manage a steady flow of data quality work through the team's queue, including batch loading records, resolving duplicates, and maintaining constituent relationships within Crimson. When you spot a recurring issue or a process that could work better, you'll flag it and help build a better way forward. You'll also serve as a go-to resource for units across IU Advancement by consulting with development officers, administrative staff, and other partners on data standards, best practices, and training materials that make Crimson more accessible to everyday users. The balance of your partnerships leans heavily toward campus support units, so your ability to bridge the gap between data expertise and everyday users is essential. The ideal candidate brings sharp attention to detail and genuine curiosity, but pairs technical skill with a human touch. You correct mistakes tactfully, build trust through partnership, take initiative without being asked, and care as much about the people using the data as the data itself.
