This is an entry-level Criminal Justice position that will monitor a caseload of clients ordered to comply with Intervention technology, including but not limited to electronic monitoring, monitored sobriety, and/or GPS. The role involves completing record keeping and compliance reporting. The specialist will support, promote, and adhere to the mission, values, and Code of Conduct of Intervention Inc., reflecting the company's commitment to treating all persons with dignity and respect. Responsibilities include meeting with new clients to explain program rules, regulations, deadlines, and client responsibilities and expectations. The role also involves entering client data into the Technology Management System and ICON, hooking wearable technology on clients, downloading information from wearable devices, and maintaining complete, accurate, and timely case files (both paper and electronic) for each client. Additionally, the specialist will assess and collect client fees, issue receipts, and secure payments appropriately. They will also work with probation staff and/or criminal justice personnel on client issues and staffing as directed by a manager, and monitor drug and alcohol tests, including UA monitoring of same-sex clients. This position requires in-custody technology hookups in a jail setting.
