The Sheriff’s Office provides public safety at all times and therefore every position is deemed essential. All positions are in-person and not eligible for remote work. Every position is also subject to recall based on the needs of the Office to keep the community safe. This position has an anticipated work schedule of: 10-hour shift with an anticipated schedule of Sunday - Wednesday or Wednesday - Saturday, 11:00am - 9:00pm, subject to change based on operational needs. Training schedule may include an 8-hour shift of Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm, subject to change based on operational needs. Please be advised this position may close without advance notice, should we receive a sufficient number of applicants. Monitors real-time and pending calls for the Sheriff’s Office Intelligence-Based Operations Center (IBOC), enhancing information for responding personnel to resolve incidents. Oversees camera systems for ongoing situations and pre-planned operations. Actively locates and provides real-time situational awareness via radio/phone for priority calls/operations. Assists first responders in real-time to prevent injury/damage, monitor disturbances, identify threats, and provide video evidence. Collaborates with outside agencies by sharing data to identify criminal activity, patterns, trends, and suspects.
