About The Position

This role involves assisting the drill pipe inspection crew in various tasks related to the preparation, inspection, and post-inspection processes of drill pipe. The Crewperson will be responsible for tasks such as rolling pipe, buffing pipe exteriors and threaded connections, operating drill pipe jacks, painting pipe for identification, and applying thread lubricant. The position also includes assisting in the refacing process.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a similar role or relevant industry is an asset.
• Basic knowledge of coating and inspection techniques is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist drill pipe inspection crew in all aspects of prepping pipe for inspection during the inspection process and post inspection
• Rolling pipe
• Buffing pipe OD's
• Cleaning and buffing threaded connections
• Operating Drill pipe Jacks
• Painting pipe with identification bands
• Applying thread lubricant to passing connections and reapply thread protectors
• Assist in Refacing process
