About The Position

Our friendly and helpful Crew Members create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our guests. Crew members work in a variety of areas, including Concession, Box Office or Usher, and will perform the key duties of each area. These positions include: Box Office Greeter: Greets guests, sells tickets, explains reserved seating, provides showtime information, guides guests to their theater locations, and processes ticket transactions. Concessions/Kitchen: Recommends a variety of snacks and beverages to guests, prepares food and drinks, operates the register, processes payments, and make change, and safely operates cooking, warming, and popcorn equipment. Ushers: Cleans auditoriums after showings, sweep aisles, wipe surfaces, pick up trash, maintain restrooms and common areas, and restock supplies. We train our staff in all functions whenever possible to better serve our guests.

Requirements

Available to work Theater Hours which include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Regular and consistent attendance.
Ability to communicate with all ages, genders, and personalities. Ability to effectively and regularly converse in and comprehend in English.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time and to be move quickly for sales rush before the start of a movie.
Requires the ability to occasionally lift and clean popcorn kettles, warmers, butter machines, hot dog and other food preparation and drink equipment.
Strong verbal and interpersonal skills.
Accurate cash handling and math skills.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be at least 21 years of age (for alcohol service).
Must complete a Safe Alcohol Service training program and meet the age requirement for alcohol service as well as Food Handler's certification.
Due to the nature of the Theatre Industry, team members may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the Theatre. Work schedules will include working on holidays, weekends, evenings and alternate shifts.
High school diploma or G.E.D., or currently enrolled
Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.

Responsibilities

Greet customers in a welcoming manner.
Provide excellent customer service.
Perform each duty as assigned in areas of Concession, Box office, and usher.
Stock shelves, counters or tables with merchandise.
Set up advertising displays or arrange merchandise on counters or tables to promote sales.
Handle payment transactions and make change.
Watch for safety or security issues (trip hazards, lighting, suspicious persons, etc.).
Checks the identification and verifies the legal age for purchase of alcoholic beverages.
Prepares, pours, and delivers alcoholic beverages to Guests.
Understands and complies with state liquor laws and Company policies with regard to alcohol service.
Other duties as assigned.
