About The Position

Jeff’s Bagel Run is seeking energetic, outgoing, and enthusiastic Crew Members to join their fast-growing team. This role involves working with people, hopping between various positions within the bakery, and learning all aspects of the business, from dough preparation to crafting drinks and providing excellent customer service. The company is experiencing rapid growth and offers opportunities for advancement into leadership roles such as Shift Lead. Jeff's Bagel Run aims to bake fresh bagels, bring joy, and build community. Founded in 2019, the company has expanded to 30 locations and is looking for individuals eager to learn the bagel business and grow with them. The work environment is team-oriented, and the bakery closes daily at 2 PM. A great candidate will be disciplined, fast, take pride in consistency, and deliver a quality product. They must be willing to work in a fast-paced bakery environment, be a good teammate, and possess a strong understanding of customer service.

Requirements

• Must be willing to work in a sometimes fast paced bakery focused on baking bagels and serving smiles
• Must be a good teammate
• Strong understanding of what it takes to provide great customer service to customers
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
• Must be able to move quickly and efficiently under pressure
• Must be comfortable running a cash register
• Weekend availability required
• Shifts may start anywhere from 5-7am

Responsibilities

• General customer service
• Running front of house as a team, or individually
• Assisting in food prep (bagels and cream cheese)
• Front lobby maintenance
• Inventory counts
• Providing assistance to the bakers when needed
• Clean and disinfect work area; set-up and break-down work station; and follow and ensure compliance with sanitation and cleaning procedures
• Responsible for opening store on time
• Able to close the entire bakery
• Ensure that all equipment is clean and sanitized
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment
• Whipped cream cheese production
• Cream cheese scooping
• Vegetable chopping
• Food prep (bagels)
• Making coffee
• Dishes
• General cleaning
• Front of house service
