About The Position
Paradies Lagardère is seeking passionate crew members to work in the Vessel Kitchen dining environment at SLC International Airport. Front-of-house crew members prepare products according to operational and quality standards, operate the point-of-sale system, and serve guests enthusiastically in a clean, fast-paced environment. Requirements
- Enthusiasm for serving guests and creating a positive customer experience.
- Ability to prepare products according to operational and quality standards.
- Ability to operate a point-of-sale system and handle cash, credit and debit card payments, and change.
- Knowledge of menu items and ability to address guest questions, including questions about potential food allergens.
Responsibilities
- Prepare products according to operational and quality standards.
- Operate the point-of-sale system.
- Greet and acknowledge guests warmly, and take their food and drink orders within 30 seconds of arrival.
- Accurately total orders, process payments, and collect payment from guests.
- Handle cash, process credit and debit cards, and make change in accordance with cash-handling and loss-prevention procedures.
- Know the restaurant's menu and products and make recommendations suited to guests' needs, including answering questions about potential food allergens.
- Serve guests enthusiastically in a clean, fast-paced environment and create positive experiences for travelers.
- Uphold health and safety standards to maintain a comfortable environment for customers.
