About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and driven Crew Leader to oversee precast fence installation and masonry construction operations across commercial job sites. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring deep trade knowledge, strong crew management capabilities, and an unwavering commitment to quality and safety.

Requirements

  • Minimum experience: 2 years, with hands-on experience in precast fence installation, masonry construction, or closely related fencing/masonry trade work.
  • Proven crew leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and hold a team accountable.
  • Working knowledge of masonry materials, methods, and best practices: Precast Spilt face CMU, Boxwood, Single Wythe (block, brick & rock) and Wrought Iron Fencing/Gates.
  • Equipment experience: skid steer, mini-excavator, and related site equipment preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record — must be able to operate company trucks and transport crew and equipment.
  • Clean background check required.
  • High personal standards for quality, pace, and accountability.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and hold accountable a job site crew members.
  • Set the daily tone for professionalism, pace, teamwork, and accountability on every job site.
  • Train and develop crew members in safe and efficient installation techniques, equipment operation, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate daily work assignments, monitor crew productivity, and adjust workflow to meet project deadlines.
  • Oversee all phases of precast concrete fence installation: layout, post setting, panel placement, leveling, and finishing.
  • Direct and perform block, brick, and stone masonry work on commercial.
  • Oversee mortar mixing, coursing, tying, and finishing operations to ensure structural integrity and aesthetic quality.
  • Ensure all work meets applicable codes, project specifications, and company quality standards
  • Perform and delegate site preparation to crew.
  • Operate and supervise operation of skid steers, mini-excavators, and related equipment.
  • Ensure proper care, maintenance, and reporting of all company tools and equipment.
  • Enforce full compliance with company safety standards and OSHA regulations.
  • Maintain complete and accurate safety documentation before, during and after arriving at job site.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with project managers.
  • Proactively identify and escalate field issues, such as material shortages, job site questions before they impact schedule or quality of work.
