About The Position

The Crew Lead supports the production leadership team in completing Zaro’s retail and wholesale orders accurately. The role maintains product quality and productivity, encourages teamwork, and provides necessary reports. The Crew Lead oversees a team of 10 or more people, helps keep production lines running consistently, and supports safe, clean manufacturing operations.

Requirements

Able to top and side-coat a cake using machinery.
Able to pipe various borders.
Bilingual communication is required.
Able to read English fluently.
Possesses mechanical skills and understands basic math.
Able to perform essential job duties safely while meeting quality and quantity standards.
Able to lift and transport up to 50 pounds.
Able to work effectively in hot or cold environments.
Able to remain standing for extended periods and, as needed, squat, reach, bend, pull, push, or perform other physical tasks during a shift.
Consistently arrives at work on time and maintains regular attendance.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of 10 or more people to accomplish production goals.
Maintain consistent execution of product line duties.
Set up and break down manufacturing equipment.
Follow recipe weights and measures.
Complete food-safety tasks as directed by the Quality Assurance Department, including sanitation, allergen checks, weight verification, and metal detection.
Document lot codes, yields, waste, inventory, and shortages accurately on work orders.
Train associates on equipment use, line positions, and shift routines.
Safeguard company property.
Set a productive pace, manage multiple tasks, and work efficiently.
Foster teamwork in a diverse setting and create a positive environment.
Keep the workspace clean and follow safety procedures.
