About The Position
6th Man Movers is a leading moving company dedicated to providing top-notch service to our clients. We are proud to be the highest-rated moving company in the Madison area. As we continue to grow, we are seeking motivated and professional individuals to join our team. We are looking for a Crew Lead/Driver to lead moving crews and ensure efficient, safe, and customer-focused moving services. This role involves driving our moving trucks, leading a team, and interacting with customers to provide exceptional service.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Good MVR (No DUIs, Reckless, Major Accidents, Super Speeding).
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Availability to work weekends.
- High school diploma or equivalent
Nice To Haves
- a college degree or current enrollment is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of movers.
- Ensure proper loading and unloading of customer belongings.
- Communicate effectively with customers to address their needs and concerns.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Provide training and support to new team members.
- Complete necessary paperwork and reports.
