About The Position

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in covering of hay.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions regarding geographic locations, including use of GPS devices.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions regarding standard and specific rental hay tarp and silage cover installations.
  • Valid Driver’s license and acceptable driver’s abstract from the state.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work at heights and use a ladder.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Lifting 50+ pounds requires a lifting device or two person lift.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, and Depth perception.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees a four-person field team installing hay tarps and silage covers, ensuring work is completed safely, accurately, and on time.
  • Coordinates daily tasks.
  • Maintains job records.
  • Operates company vehicles.
  • Communicates with customers.
  • Promotes teamwork.
  • Implements procedures and recommends improvements in safety, production methods, equipment, operating procedures, and working conditions.
  • Leads others.
  • Reads and understands work orders.
  • Operates company vehicles and pull bumper pull and goose neck trailers.
  • Aids in finding crew members.
  • Obtains and retains a DOT Medical Card.
  • Communicates with ITC Services customers.
  • Uses a company phone and not damage it.
  • Coordinates field crew member’s daily tasks ensuring accurate and timely rental hay tarp and silage cover installation.
  • Maintains records of rental jobs performed.
  • Maintains accurate daily paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Leads a four person team in covering hay and silage.
  • Takes phone calls from customers.
  • Works necessary overtime and weekend work to meet customer demand.
  • Attends and participates in all departmental and safety, job specific required training and informational meetings.
  • Completes Map Packet when required as well as paperwork that goes along with it.
  • Maintains a high standard of cleanliness throughout company property.
  • Helps build and promote a strong “Teamwork” environment.
  • Adheres to Our Core Values and demonstrates on a daily basis.
  • Performs quality work within deadlines.
  • Works effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.
