This position is responsible for managing small field crews and conducting archaeological fieldwork, monitoring, and research associated with archaeological projects. The role involves ensuring crew safety, maintaining project documents, leading crews in the field, assisting with scheduling fieldwork logistics, and aiding in archaeological reporting under the guidance of the Section Head or Senior Archaeologist and Principal Investigator. Preference is given to individuals willing to work from or relocate to JMT office locations in Houston or Round Rock, Texas. Compensation for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hour, commensurate with experience, education, and certifications. The provided range is a good faith estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the selected candidate's experience level. Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position, except for qualified candidates eligible for the TN visa classification.
