The foreman is the supervising member of the crew and has demonstrated a high proficiency level in all tasks related to tower site construction. They have also established a high level of responsibility and accountability for themselves and those under them. Foremen are expected to participate, supervise, and oversee all work tasks performed on site, inspecting each phase as required, ensuring the quality of the installation pertaining to grounding, terminations, fastening, proper bolting and antioxidant use, support of leads, cadwelding as required, and all other procedures related to the industry. This role involves frequent work in adverse weather conditions, standing, walking, stooping, sitting, climbing, and using hands to handle objects. Employees must constantly lift, carry, and maneuver heavy or awkward objects weighing 50lbs or more. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Daily travel within the Company’s geographical footprint and possible extended stays at external destinations are expected, with travel time ranging from three to six weeks at a time, followed by appropriate breaks. The role also requires the frequent use of hand and power tools.
