About The Position

The Creeler is primarily responsible for creeling assigned yarns on correct knitting machines in an efficient and safe manner.

Requirements

• Ability to read and verify yarns printed on knitting tickets with Knitter and Knitting Mechanic.
• Related experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Time management: the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Creel two (2) machines on each knitting set, totaling ten to twelve (10-12) machines.
• Prevent yarn damage when transferring from yarn boxes to yarn pin trucks.
• Stack yarn on yarn pin trucks, ensuring it is no more than one layer above the top row of pins.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and policies, and report any unsafe conditions to management.
• Maintain a neat and clean work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
