About The Position

The Credit Risk Trainer provides new hire and ongoing training and professional development for the Risk Organization. This role is responsible for assessing learning needs, developing training content, and delivering high-quality, innovative learning solutions that build the expertise, skills, and capabilities required to achieve business goals.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in technical training, instructional design, or enablement.
  • 2 years of experience developing, implementing, and facilitating classroom, online, and virtual training programs using adult learning principles in a corporate environment
  • Proven ability to effectively train large groups using strong facilitation skills
  • Experience developing training in multiple formats (ILT/VILT, eLearning, microlearning, job aids).

Nice To Haves

  • Background in adult learning theory, instructional design methodologies, needs assessments, and project management
  • Experience conducting learning needs analysis and presenting viable learning solutions that align with time and budget requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS), e-Learning platforms, and content authoring toolS
  • Experience training on financial services, payments, risk, or other regulated-domain platforms.
  • Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design models (ADDIE or similar).
  • Tools: Articulate 360 (Storyline/Rise), Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Snagit, LMS administration (Cornerstone, Docebo, Moodle, etc.).
  • Experience creating process flows and visuals (Visio/Lucidchart).

Responsibilities

  • Consult with key stakeholders and assigned client groups to understand business and organizational goals, gather requirements, recommend learning and development solutions, and deliver training programs and content
  • Partner with stakeholders to assess workforce skill and knowledge gaps and collaborate to design, develop, and deliver appropriate learning solutions
  • Measure effectiveness (attendance, assessments, learner feedback, adoption metrics) and drive continuous improvement.
  • Conduct and/or oversee training needs assessments and development project plans and timelines to manage training initiatives and requests
  • Continuously evaluate learning content and programs to ensure they meet learning objectives, business goals, and organizational priorities
  • Deploy learning programs using blended learning approaches, leveraging technology, learning systems, and digital tools as appropriate
  • Ensure effective application of adult learning principles and strong group facilitation techniques in all training delivery
  • Continuously deepen business and risk knowledge as new solutions, systems, or requirements are introduced
